Investigating the effects of information technology security on the performance of Faraja border guarding system

Abstract

Today, information plays the role of an organization's capital, and protecting the organization's information is one of the most important pillars of its survival. On the other hand, security problems and obstacles are one of the most basic issues in the field of information systems. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of information technology security on the performance of Faraja Border Guard System. Due to its location in the Middle East region, Iran is facing risks in its security environment. It is a fact that Iran's strategic environment, including national security, is exposed to many external geopolitical spheres. This research is practical in terms of purpose. The statistical population includes the senior commanders and border guard officers of Faraja in Sistan and Baluchistan province. In this research, simple random sampling method was used. In this research, descriptive statistics tables were used for descriptive statistics and partial least squares method was used for inferential statistics. Finally, the variables of information technology security in the Faraja Border Guard Organization, organizational performance variables in the Faraja Border Guard Organization were extracted and the relationships between information technology security and Faraja organizational performance were discovered. The results of the structural model of this research showed that information technology security in the subject under investigation includes three dimensions of system quality, information quality and service quality.
